Rocket Spanish Review (The Standout Winner) |
Rocket Spanish is the standout winner in my opinion. It combines both audio lessons with interactive computer games. Strangely enough, it is also the cheapest option. Fortunately, this is one case where "you get what you pay for" simply doesn't hold true.
The audio lessons are focusing on building your ability to actually speak the language and that happens in a way that's both interesting and efficient. Theres no learning useless, boring phrases here.
It also has computer games that make it a fun and easy way to build vocabulary, learn your verbs and improve your verbal recognition skills.
There is plenty of information regarding some of the more technical aspects of Spanish, for those of you who just love grammar.

Learn Spanish Like Crazy Review |

This is my second favourite product because it's quite comprehensive. Learning Spanish Like Crazy solely uses audio lessons. It lacks the interactivity or Rocket Spanish, but teaches you everyday Spanish that you can use confidently in Spanish speaking countries. You can put these lessons on your iPod, or play the CDs in your car.
We recommend Learning Spanish Like Crazy as a supplement course to Rosetta Stone, Rocket Spanish or even your Spanish language classes.
When most people ask me to recommend a single product, I tell them to get Rocket Spanish and if they still have some extra cash to spend, Learn Spanish Like Crazy is also a good investment. |

Rosetta Stone Spanish Review |

Rosetta Stone Spanish is another great product. It is purely software based, which means you can only use it while you are at your computer.
You will learn a lot of Spanish, however, it is not as much fun, nor will you do it as quickly as if you did it using Rocket Spanish.
Rosetta Stone is the #1 language-learning software company in the world and you're probably familiar with this brand. These lessons have been proven for years, although the course is rather extensive, it's pricetag reflects this. It is around 4 times as expensive as Rocket Spanish and I personally don't think it is worth that much., but it's well worth the investment.
Rosetta Stone has a unique way of teaching Spanish. It uses word and image associations along with writing exercises. The software will show you four images at once. You listen to the audio track and select an image accordingly. It is a great way to mix your your learning experience.
This program uses speech recognition technology to improve your pronunciation and they offer a full 6-month money back guarantee. This software cost more than the others, but this is an excellent package. |
